VerQu, LLC is seeking a Software Developer for its Raritan, New Jersey location. The position will modify software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve performance, and upgrade interfaces; direct system testing and validation procedures; direct software programming and documentation development; consult with departments or customers on project status and proposals; work with customers or departments on technical issues including software system design and maintenance; analyze information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or modifications of an existing system; consult with engineering staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements; design and develop software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and design consequences; prepare reports on programming project specifications, activities, or status; confer with Project Managers to obtain information on limitations or capabilities; design and prototype UI’s; implement design elements in conformance with established standards; develop and modify front-end/business tier code (implemented in C# and .NET); design database structures (MSSQL); develop and modify database code; participate in system testing and deployment processes; interact with Information Technology (IT) management regarding work assignments and status; coordinate development and testing efforts with other team members; handle debugging activities and application of knowledge in debugging capabilities; analyze stored procedures and scripts; work with SQL and NOSQL as well as .NET frameworks/standard/core; develop .NET (C#) or C++; application of knowledge of the software development life-cycle to ongoing development projects; develop unit testing of code components and complete applications; full-stack development, with application of knowledge of concepts of software engineering; ongoing application of programming language knowledge; and work and lead in a fast-packed, creative environment, with the ability to task through multiple software development projects. Must have proficient experience specifically in C# or C++, .NET, SQL, to develop, oversee development, monitor, repair, and diagnose said system access and programming.
Educational & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or the foreign equivalent); minimum 36-months experience in Software Development or Software Engineering.
